District heating system for nine areas, controlled by a central BMS, communicating to remote control panels via a fibre optic network.

Pump Pressure Control
Two 90kW pumps controlled on a duty standby basis via Toshiba Variable Frequency Drives.
Operation
Pumps are controlled by maintaining a fixed outlet pressure to supply water to four water tanks 200M up The Rock. Each pump will operate for 12 hours run time before changing over to the standby pump.
Failure of either pump will generate a fault signal over a GSM modem to notify the support team.
